Tamima Hossain, is a resourceful HR professional, change agent and strategy architect for 12+ years with broad based and progressively responsible work experiences in multidimensional organizations of Bangladesh and Philippines. She served as Head of HR Strategy, Policy & Communication in Prime Bank Limited, Dhaka, Bangladesh till 2015.
She started her career with iDE (International Development Enterprises) in year 2002 and then followed by Bangladesh Poush, Beximco Pharmaceutical Limited, Presidency University, Monower Associates, REED Consulting Group, Prime Bank Ltd, and Global executive Solutions Group-Philippines. During her tenure with these organizations she had the privilege to leverage her expertise with knowledge of the domain for different projects. She squeezed the employee grade number of Prime Bank from 16 to 6 through broad banded pay ranges and prepared a new set of Job Description for each level and each function. She reviewed more than 70 HR policies and developed numerous new policies under the guidance of central regulatory bank of Bangladesh. She oversaw the Leadership Development Program of Prime Bank Limited for the top management and led the MDP initiatives by HR Department. She Streamlined the Performance Appraisal rating by introducing an automated web-based performance measurement tool and rolled out for implementation. She also gained expertise in business plan development, organizational restructuring, KPI based performance management etc. As the Assistant Professor, she has her research publications both in local and international journals.
She holds an MBA degree from North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh and has a PGDHRM from IPMA, UK. She’s currently been enrolled in a professional development program in Cornell University, New York, USA.
She’s the professional member of BSHRM and People Management Association of Philippines (PMAP).
